Broadway Hunt

It's Boxing Day and we have gone to Broadway to see the hunt off. It's a lovely day with hundreds of people around, many with figs which get you excited.
We met Duncan and Debbie for a chat and now we are having lunch in the Lygon Arms, and all with 'George' of course (character from Pepa Pig) who you won't put down. You even woke up this morning saying "where's George" lol.
You also look very beautiful today with you whit polar neck sweater and new scarf and gloves. Xxx

Yo! Izzy!

Well, your daddy has been off work on holiday ALL week whilst mummy has still been working her fingers to the bone! - mummy had to pop into Cheltenham yesterday to collect a present as it's daddy's birthday today! - we wanted to also show you the Christmas Market on the promenade and you wanted to see the bubbles! - you call it 'the bubble shop!' You get so very excited!

Well, after all of our shopping escapades we were peckish so decided to visit the new Yo! Sushi in town and you were (as always) very determined and wanted to use the chop sticks to eat your chicken! - you got in a bit of a muddle with them and found the most effective way to eat with them was to simply stab/spear your food! - hey presto, the chicken's now 'on' your chop stick! Lol!

You were also fascinated by the conveyer belt of little dishes hurtling by and wanted to try everything! Funny little girl xxx

Christmas Tree Time

It's the 15th December and we have just pug he tree up. We've had a very busy December but finally got it done.
You were a little excited until a program came on the telly you like, then you sat watching TV eating the Christmas chocolate decorations off the tree while your mom and I carried on decorating.

Big Bro Driving

Went to see Dunk today and had our usual driving lesson. Went well and he's going really well, he has his theory test on Wednesday 18th December.
Here's a picture if him messing around looking through the rear reversing camera, he did not know I was taking pictures of the monitor, lol. X

Remote Control Car

I was out with Dunkan today and whilst browsing he saw this car and wanted me to get it for you, and him I think!!!
It's a toys car for you to sit in but it has a remote control that the adult can use.
Dunk thinks you would love it, probably right and would be great fun round the village.
I was going to but then realised that it would mean your Nanna Sheena driving you round the villGe and that would be both unfair and dangerous as we can't run the rust of her being stopped for drink driving. I feel it would end up with Nanna and Sally in the car and you driving them back home, funny Nanna. X

Breathe Digital

Whilst writing the last post I pressed the 'select location' button which usually lists where we are, my usual choices are Kemerton, The Crown Pub or the Post Office.
However, tonight there was a third option, one which made your mom very happy. X

Now that's an Egg

When we got home (well Nanna Sheena's house actually) Chris had brought us a Rhea Egg from the farm.... and it's huge.
Chris drilled and blew the egg as firstly, you mom wants to keep the shell and secondly, taking a hammer to it would be a little extreme and ruin a lovely egg.
As you can see from the picture the egg filled a bowl. Your mom and I had a huge omelette each from it and it was lovely.
I'm sure you would have liked it given the chance, lol. Xxx

Looking Pretty

As usual we have to wake you up in the week at 8am to get you ready for Nursery but of a weekend, when we want a lie-in, your up at 7am. This morning was no exception and sure enough at 7am your sitting on my back pretending to ride a horse saying "giddy-up".
On that note your Nanna was out early horse riding do you decided you would like to wear her nightie and put make up on!!!!! Just another 'normal' weekend morning for you, never sitting still for a minute, lol. Xxx

Moving House

We've moved out of April Cottage now and in with your Nana Sheena, and you love it. You think it's great and like your on holiday. The bad news (for Nana anyway) is that the house move fell through because of land issues so it looks like we're here for good (Nanna will be coughing her wine up when she reads this on the computer) and talking of Nanna and wine here's a picture from the pub on Friday night as well as a few of you having fun. X

Just like Jess

We have a few pictures of your big sister Jessica around the house and when we say it Jess you say "no, Izzy" and no matter how much we say it you won't have it and in the end start shouting at us, and sometimes get upset. So here's one of the pictures, it does lol just like you. X

Grandad's visit

Grandad came over from Spain to visit for a few days, you had lots of fun and Grandad and Vicky bought you a lovely sweater, bottoms and a hat.

Here you are looking as the sweater says, beautifull.
HELLO GRANDAD AND VICKY, THANKYOU LOVE IZZY XXX

Cheltenham Races... and Mommy disgraced herself AGAIN!!!

We went to the races today and had a great day just relaxing and having fun, it was a really good day. My old friend Duncan Girling (who your big brother is named after) has moved locally and his wife Debbie now works at Durglex, small world. Anyway we have been trying to meet up for a while so we agreed to meet at the races. Great seeing them, greT company and he's not changed. We ended up going back to their home and after much wine and and take away curry we're were tired and a bit worse for wear, particularly your mom.
We took a taxi back and after putting you mom to bed I went over to nanna's to collect you, it's now about midnight.
After getting back and putting you to bed  I was about to lock up when..... It happened AGAIN, your mom projectile vomited across the bed and all over the carpet!! (A week before we are due to move out, and this while this is not the first time I feel it will certainly not be the last) After cleaning it all up, I might add while I'm doing this your mom has got backing to bed and is sleeping amongst the vomit!!!! I cleaned you mom and the bed up. It's now 2am in the morning and I decide to sleep in your bed as it was the safest place to be.
Luckily the carpet is OK but your moms a little sensitive this morning, lol.
However, we had a great day but I unfortunately did not take picture, your moms quite happy about that though!

Friday 15 November 2013

We've been utterly crap but we're back to it now!

Right, well firstly apologies to those that read the blog and haven't had an update since September! We're officially rubbish! Anyway, we're back now!!

It's been a busy couple of months, things of note, we're currently in the process of moving house and as a result are living in a sort of organized chaos! - unfortunately when we moved all of the furniture (originally from April Cottage) back into the house in preparation for moving, you fell and split your lip on a horrible coffee table! - Cue a frenzied drive to Cheltenham hospital (it's worth interjecting at this point to say that whilst your daddy is awesome at most things he is absolutely, categorically useless in a crisis! - he initially sat in the back with you  trying to stem the bleeding but before we had barely got halfway down the road he 'couldn't cope' and wanted to drive; well, it's a miracle that any of us are here now, 100mph down the 'seven bends' road with a panicked driver is NOT recommended!) before being referred to Gloucester (again, NOT the place to be at any time, let alone on a Friday night!) where they thought you might benefit from stitches. Well, in the end they decided not to stitch (we went back on the Saturday to make sure!) and I'm pleased to say that it's healing remarkably well considering how deep it was. - and throughout you were such a little trooper! xxx

What else? Well, I think Ray's got a load of updates to do and as we're currently waiting for daddy to finish work so we can go into cheltenham and see the bubbles! - amongst planned shopping I might add! Ray needs a new coat and we're off racing tomorrow which I'm sure will be FREEZING! - hopefully we'll win some pennies on the horses!

Toodle-pip, Mummy x

Wedding Day - Pt 7. Cafe du Paris

Last time we came to London we went to the Cafe Du Paris for a meal and show, we really enjoyed it so decided to do it again.
We were not disappointed the acts were fantastic, again. We did not stay after as we're both tired so took tube back and the walked from Harrods to the hotel, the building were all lot up so we decided to take a few pics.

Wedding Day - Pt 6. Biking back!!!

After the Dorchester we thought it would be fun to cycle back to the hotel. We hired the city bikes, put flowers and Kay's shoes in basket an cycles back through Hyde Park. We got a few strange looks but we ha fun and we use the bikes when we come yo London so it felt appropriate.

Wedding Day - Pt 5. Afternoon tea

We went to the Dorchester afterwards which was very good. The photographer came and took some pictures outside first.
The Dorchester was great, had champagne and afternoon tea, which included more champagne. We were given a congratulations cake and the pianist played the wedding march for us... And we then had complimentary champagne.
It was really good and a nice end to the afternoon.

Wedding Day - Pt 4. We've done it!!

We did it! The ceremony was great along with our photographer and the witness we 'acquired' I have to say she 'Sera' was amazing and a real character. We're not sure what nationality she was but very funny and one if life's characters. We did find out she is a curator at one of the museums but difficult to understand. When we get pictures from photographer we will post a picture of Sera.

Wedding Day - Pt 3. In the Taxi

30 minutes to go.
We're in the taxi on our way to the Old Chelsea Town Hall. Took a quick picture, both feeling a bit nervous now.

Wedding Day - Pt 2. At the hotel

2 hours to go.
Arrived at our hotel, Hotel 54, in Kensington. We stayed here last time and really like it, they also upgraded us which was nice.
The flowers were waiting for us in the room, they looked beautiful.

Wedding Day - Pt 1. On our way to Landoooon

5 hours to go.
Caught the 9:04 train to Paddington from Evesham. Had a relaxing journey. We played Catch Phrase on the iPad and we were awesome. Went through reading and seen the festival, it looked manic with plenty of revellers in the train.

Farm Park Part 2

We also took these pictures of you playing around and generally look beautiful.
You growing up so fast, learning so much and becoming so so funny. And your hairs getting more curly. Cxx

Getting a BIG girl

Whilst at the farm you and your mom stood next to the height marker.
We had checked you height and it was 80cm, which said you were at the 25 percentile, which means it predicts you will be 5' 2"????? I think you will be a bit taller than that.....
On the other hand it's funny how you mum is exactly the same height as a cow......
